Customer service was awesome from start to finish!
Great kit and very well thought out. This gave my kid the confidence to ride her stacyc on Trails with a downslope that she would walk with the stock drum brake. You do need a means to bleed the brake since you have to disconnect the caliper from the hose to route it through the stacyc. so if you donāt work on bicycles with Shimano brakes the. Youāll likely have to take it to a shop to get it bled after Install. All that being said when my kid sizes up to the 16āstacyc, this will be going on before she even gets to swing a leg over it.
Itās a standard bicycle chain. A little shorter than normal but longer than what was needed for the 12ā stacyc. Youāll need a chain breaker to install.

The Xrt met and exceeded everything we were looking for and my son hasnāt gone a day without riding. The quality of the bike is unmatched for the cost and we will most definitely be back for more as the kids grow.
